ONE STEP AT A TIME

From a very young age, we're often asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" For our role model, that question brought uncertainty but also exploration. She built her path step by step, asking questions, daring to try, and above all, challenging stereotypes about professions and gender. Today, she is Head of Supply Chain at OVH Cloud and inspires others with her experience.

Chronological journey

Explore without pressure

Explore without pressure

She followed a traditional path: middle school, a science high school, engineering school, then a career as an engineer. Raised in a family that valued curiosity and exploration, she never felt pressured to know exactly where she was headed.

However, as she grew up, she had to confront doubts and stereotypes: "Math, computer science, and video games are for boys." She wondered, "If there are so few girls, is there a reason?" But she quickly realized that these ideas were unfounded.

Form your own opinion

Form your own opinion

In high school, she chose the science track not because of a sudden epiphany, but by relying on her curiosity and her willingness to learn. She always dared to ask questions, explore different fields and, above all, form her own opinion.

Their commitments and values

Their commitments and values

Having faced stereotypes throughout her career, she is convinced that everyone should be able to follow the path that suits them, without being held back by clichés.

When she took her first managerial position, a colleague nearing retirement told her: "You are a young woman, you are not going to teach me how to work." She doubted herself, but rather than opposing him, she listened, engaged in dialogue and built a relationship of mutual respect. She thus demonstrated that a good manager is not someone who imposes, but someone who understands each person's strengths and weaknesses to organize a team effectively.

What Garbielle shares with you:

STAY CURIOUS, TEST, TRY! IT IS BY EXPLORING THAT WE FIND WHAT WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT.

FORM YOUR OWN OPINION. DON'T STOP AT CLICHÉS OR PRECONCEIVED IDEAS.

LEARN TO LISTEN AND TO WORK AS A TEAM. EXPRESSING YOURSELF AND UNDERSTANDING OTHERS IS ESSENTIAL TO MOVE FORWARD.

IT'S NORMAL TO BE AFRAID WHEN TRYING SOMETHING NEW. WHAT MATTERS IS Daring TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP.
