Lucie Galibert

Lucie grew up in Toulouse, surrounded by animals, passionate about horseback riding and video games. She dreamed of becoming a jockey, then a veterinarian. However, after internships at clinics, she realized that her love of animals did not necessarily mean she wanted to care for them.

She became interested in dietetics and earned a DUT in food safety and quality. This experience motivated her to pursue a Master’s degree in Quality, Hygiene and Environment in Valenciennes. Determined, she seized the opportunities that arose and explored different sectors, from rail freight to the food industry.

Her path then leads her to join OVH Cloud, where she begins as an Audit Manager (measuring and optimizing activities). Curious and proactive, she takes on the challenges presented to her and progresses to an Audit Manager role.

Lucie has often faced gender stereotypes throughout her journey. She is committed to showing that women have their rightful place in cybersecurity and in technical fields. She also believes in the importance of resilience: every failure or obstacle is an opportunity to learn and to bounce back.

She encourages young people, especially girls, to pursue careers in industry, a sector still too often perceived as masculine. Her path shows that technical and social are not opposed: you can be both passionate about manufacturing and attentive to others.

Lucie encourages everyone to follow their instincts, not to be held back by others' doubts, and to believe in their potential.

She also sends a message to young girls who are judged too talkative: “Don't hold yourselves back, you may have a natural talent for management!”
