Opening the doors to the digital world
Althéa ensures that everyone, regardless of their situation, can navigate the web without barriers. Her path is far from linear: passionate about history, she worked in finance, then in IT consulting, and she built her way by learning to listen to herself. Today she puts her empathy and determination at the service of an essential mission: making the digital world fairer and more human. Althéa grows up in a small village where she loves to learn. Always studious, always supported, she moves forward without setting limits for herself. A passionate geek, she plays online a lot, where she discovers that the digital world can be welcoming… but sometimes surprising for a girl. Her interests often change, but one thing remains: she loves to understand, to learn, to progress.

Searching for yourself to better find yourself
In high school, she follows her friends into Science, Technology and Management, without real conviction. Passionate about history, she nonetheless gives up on becoming a teacher when she is told there are few job prospects. Her studies lead her into finance, but this stressful world exhausts her and is unlike the calm, empathetic person she is. One day, she decides to listen to herself: she quits her apprenticeship and turns the page.

Finally find your place in the digital world
By listening to her friends who became developers, she discovers a more open environment where women are welcome. She joins a consulting firm, then moves to Berlin. Later, she fulfills her dream: to live in the Dordogne. By joining OVHcloud, she flourishes in digital projects, eventually becoming an accessibility lead. There, she finds a profession aligned with her values, where helping others takes on its full meaning.

Today, Althéa works to make OVHcloud’s websites accessible to everyone, including people who are visually impaired, dyslexic, or have disabilities. She tests interfaces, identifies obstacles, and guides teams so that a simple site becomes a welcoming place for everyone. Her work enables thousands of people to use the Internet as easily as possible. It’s a technical job, but above all a human one: it’s about understanding how each person perceives the digital world.
Their commitments and values
Althéa moves forward with empathy, attentiveness, and fairness. She firmly believes we can change things by giving everyone equal access to opportunities. Responsible digital practices, ecology, and well-being… all of that is part of her daily life. A part-time yoga teacher alongside her job, she enjoys passing on what helped her grow. For her, helping others is a way of giving meaning to the world.
